Parking Update for Meeting Attendees |
Free Parking and Shuttle at Pargo’s Restaurant
Because of several WVU construction projects, parking is at a premium on the Evansdale Campus of West Virginia University. Therefore, we have leased parking spots at Pargo’s Restaurant, 334 Patteson Drive on Sept. 22 for the Coal Utilization Technologies Workshop. (See map. Pargo's is located east of the WVU Coliseum on Patteson Drive, next to Burger King.)
Please allow 15 - 20 minutes extra drive time.) A shuttle bus at Pargo’s will take you to and from the workshop. For those who like exercise, Pargo’s is a 15-minute walk to the NRCCE building,
FYI -- There are several pay parking lots close to the NRCCE Building but they fill up quickly. Even parking at the WVU Coliseum can be difficult to find right now. Parking is not allowed in any permit lot and you will be ticketed by the WVU Parking Office. Parking at Pargo’s and riding the free shuttle to the NRCCE building will probably be easier than driving around campus trying to find pay parking anywhere else.
